How to become a Nail Specialist in Florida: Eligibility & Requirements
To become a licensed Nail Specialist in Florida, you’ll need to complete a state-approved program, submit your application, and meet a few basic eligibility requirements. At the Institute for Medical Aesthetics and Laser (IMAGE), our Nail Specialist Program fully prepares you to meet all licensing requirements quickly and confidently. Here’s what you’ll need to qualify for your Florida Nail Specialist License:
- Be at least 16 years of age or have a high school diploma.
- Have a valid driver’s license or other form of identity.
- Complete an approved HIV/AIDS Course.
- There is no Florida state board exam requirement for facial specialist, nail specialist or full specialist licensure.
