What Is Licensure?

Licensure is what allows a school to legally operate and offer state-recognized training programs. We are proudly licensed by the Florida Commission for Independent Education (CIE License #13176). This means our curriculum meets or exceeds the state’s requirements and prepares you for immediate licensure or to sit for licensure exams in various beauty and wellness professions, including:

• Electrologist/Laser Hair Removal Technician
• Massage Therapist

In Florida, Facial Specialist, Nail Specialist and Full Specialist –DO NOT require a state board exam. Student who complete one of these programs at IMAGE can apply directly for licensure through the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR). We assist our students with this process during their program, so they can graduate fully licensed and ready to work!
